![]() One thing I really enjoy about M&B: Warband is the political aspect. With 120 or so men under arms, most of them veterans my weekly wages bill is massive, but recently I've been building up an industrial base in a number of cities so I have a decent income even without pillaging enemy villages.Īs such, I figure I'm ready to renounce my oath of vassalage and strike out on my own, but annoyingly though I have an awesome Renown and Honour my Right To Rule stat is still pretty damn low - I'm not really sure how to raise it beyond sending out companions to inform the world how awesome a king I would be (and that doesn't raise it much). I'm playing Warband and have got about as far as I really want to go as the vassal of Sultan Hakim - I'm married to a noblewoman, well liked by many members of his court and thanks to my conquests have been granted two cities, a castle and a few villages as a fiefdom. If you want to take them out of play when crushing their kingdom you can take them prisoner and then refuse to ransom them (though there's a chance they'll escape). ![]() ![]() ![]() Click to expand.I don't think you can kill nobles (at least I've never managed it) - rather like companions they just end up being wounded, and then either escape or are captured at the end of a battle. ![]()
